Today's Sad But True Stories
1) I woke up this morning to water streaming out of my ceiling and onto my bed. This is disgusting. It occurred to me that I’ve seen movies based in New York where incidents like these make the city seem quirky, gritty, or even funny. Like “Oh ha ha..that’s New York for ya!” The people who made those movies have obviously never been awoken to dirty water saturating...
The Skinny on New York
A new study is out proclaiming Manhattan to be the thinnest of all 5 boroughs, and of New York State.
The study shows that only (?!!) 42% percent of Manhattanites are overweight or obese, as compared to the other boroughs’ 58-62%, the state’s 60%, and the country’s 67%.
With all the hipsters in Brooklyn…MANHATTAN is the skinniest?? I don’t buy it.
